The ‘School’ project – from Aargau to Arad: the first donation for the International School

The International School project initiated by the Garden of Science Association has taken an important new step forward with the generous donation of school furniture from the Canton of Aargau, Switzerland.

This donation means more than equipment for future classrooms. It represents a gesture of trust, concrete support, and a direct investment in the education and future of the children in our community.

We are currently working actively on the development of the International School in Livada, Arad — the first lower and upper secondary institution in the county to offer instruction in English, based on an international curriculum. The donated furniture will equip all classrooms of the new educational campus and will significantly contribute to turning this project into reality.

Beyond its material value, this donation also marks the beginning of international educational collaborations. For the Grădina Științei Association, the partnership with Switzerland represents an important step toward building a global network of cooperation in education.

The International School in Livada aims to bring modern learning models to the community, grounded in interdisciplinarity, practical application, creativity, and global openness. The support of international partners is essential for developing an educational space adapted to the needs of future generations.

We are deeply grateful for this donation and for the trust placed in us. Through such gestures, the vision of a modern school connected to the global world comes ever closer to becoming reality.
