Wonderful news!
Following the success of last year’s program, we are happy to announce that in 2025 we are supporting the organization of 4 free STEAM Summer Schools for children, in partnership with dedicated local organizations:
- Brad, Hunedoara County (August 11–15) – with GI VeloBrad
- Satu Nou, Arad County (August 11–15) – with the Pro-Ghioroc Ma-Gyorok Association
- Livada, Arad County (August 18–22) – in partnership with the Garden of Science Association
- Margina, Timiș County (Completed in July) – with CRIES.
The STEAM Summer Schools in Margina, Brad, Livada, and Satu Nou are part of a national program in its second edition, taking place in 33 communities across the country. The program aims to spark children’s interest in science in communities with limited access to non-formal education, offering them the chance to learn essential skills for the future through play and experimentation.
The STEAM Summer School “Green Science” in Livada, Arad, is organized by the Garden of Science Association in collaboration with@Livada City Hall and @Astroclub Galaxis Arad. The initiative is part of the national STEAM Summer Schools program, developed by the @Federation of Community Foundations in Romania with the support of @Pepco Romania and coordinated in Arad / Livada by the @Timișoara Community Foundation.
